Our global alumni councils

Our 14 global alumni councils bring together dedicated volunteers from across academic disciplines and professional backgrounds to act as ambassadors for the University in their global markets.

  • Canada: Kanata, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver

  • US: New York, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area

  • Europe: Paris and London

  • Asia: Shanghai and Hong Kong

The Indigenous Alumni Council was created in winter 2021, a partnership between the uOttawa Office of Indigenous Affairs and the Alumni Relations Office. The Council is comprised of alumni from across Canada who reflect the diversity of Indigenous peoples who have studied at the University. The Council creates opportunities for alumni to maintain lifelong engagement with the University, contribute to Indigenization goals set out in the Indigenous Action Plan, and support Indigenous alumni, as well as current and future Indigenous students.
