Pearline Barrett-Fraser (BA Psychology ’16, BEd ’19) is a uOttawa alumna and educator who combines hip hop dance, music, and culture so students of all ages can connect, learn, and celebrate diversity.

A uOttawa PhD graduate and former faculty member, Dr. Panchanathan is a star in the scientific world. He’s the director of the National Science Foundation (NSF), a U.S. federal agency that plays a critical role in the world of science and engineering.

Jesse Lesniowski: A voice for LGBTQ+ people with disabilities

After surviving a brutal car crash, Jesse saw university as a source of hope and normalcy. That led him to pursue an environmental sciences degree at uOttawa where this alumnus advocated at the intersection of disability, body positivity and LGBTQ+ rights.
