Remuneration: $309/month, paid in equal installments bi-monthly, plus $75 per semester for general expenses, plus a room in residence as a taxable benefit. Note: Employees who work during the holiday period (the two weeks in Dec/Jan when the rest of the university is closed) will be paid an hourly wage of $18/hr.

We are responsible for creating a safe community in which residents of all origins and orientations thrive while they embark on their academic and personal development. We help create a sense of belonging and community connection, organize events, and facilitate mediation and conflict resolution discussions with residents.

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and foster a community atmosphere within your building floor or unit. They are here to help you out in many ways, direct you toward other resources that you may need, and to maintain and improve the quality of community life while you live and study in residence. CAs provide a peer-to-peer resource for you as you navigate through your first year in residence, and can offer confidential support for any personal or academic concerns you may have.

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and are responsible for a team of Community Advisors. They act as support to the CAs, and organize building wide activities for you to enjoy! They have experience as CAs as well and are here to support the team of CAs living in residence as well as the students who live here.

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and provide peer-to-peer support to upper-year students. Their role is to help build communities and foster a positive residence experience for those of you who wish to continue living in residence. PSs hold office hours and you are encouraged to visit them if you have any personal or academic concerns that you would like to address with a peer.

Professional staff who are responsible for the safety and security of a residence building. They supervise and support the CA, TL and PS teams. Coordinators are here to ensure that the Residence Agreement and Student Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures are being followed and act as a resource to students who may require additional support.
