The School of Translation and Interpretation Graduate Student Association (STIGSA) represents all students in the masters (Master of Arts in Translation Studies and Master in Conference Interpreting) and the doctoral programs offered at our school. We are affiliated with and receive funding from GSAÉD, the Graduate Students’ Association.

Our mandate is to respond to students’ questions and concerns, to keep students informed and to organize social and academic activities. A large proportion of the STI’s graduate students are international, and the Association makes an effort to reflect this variety in our operation.

The most important academic event our association organizes is Words of the World: The Graduate Studies Conference in Translation Studies, which takes place mid-November every year.
