Jennifer Rottmann, Ph.D., is long-term appointment (LTA) professor at the University of Ottawa. Her teaching career includes five years of teaching ESL in Japan, and ten years of teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Faculty of Education. She has also well worked as a physical education coach in a variety of elementary schools in Ottawa. Her research interests include teacher narratives; diverse literacies, individual and collective reading experiences; and (most recently) health and physical education and social justice. She has been teaching in the CSH cohort for the past 6 years. Outside of academia, she is also a fitness instructor with a strong passion for health and fitness, mom to two young children, and an avid book club member. Professor Rottmann is currently the CSH cohort lead and is looking forward to the 2022-2023 academic year!
