Individual consultations

Individual consultations (IC)  will be offered from September 14 to December 7, 2022.

Students cannot attend a study group no worries you can book an IC with a mentor 30 minutes or more whenever you feel the need.

Mentors can help students find resource on campus, provide best practices, insights on personal and academic level. Mentors are not tutors, they will not solve or answer a direct question; they will use similar example to help you comprehend the course material. As a result, students develop new learning strategies, build confidence and enhance your problem solving abilities. This helps students to be better prepared for mid-term and final exams.

Student are responsible to manage their appointment via the MS Bookings platform. In addition, students can send an MS Teams "chat" to a mentor advising them of the topic of discussion during their next IC. This helps mentors to be better prepared for the conversation.

Study groups starts weekly on September 19 to December 7, 2022.

Study groups are not mandatory; they are highly effective if you want to improve your grades, improve your learning strategies, keep your motivation and connect with your peers! Students participate as often as they want in MS Teams. The channel "Discussion" is a safe space to ask questions to other students. Mentors who facilitates the study group will do their best to answer your questions.

All students enrolled in the course are added automatically in the MS Teams study group of the specific course. Study groups are offered on a weekly basis for the duration of the term. If you cannot attend a study group, you can return anytime to consult exercises, recording, discuss with your peers. If needed, you might want to book an individual consultation with a mentor at your convenience.
