Important dates

Deadline to apply for scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year:
Admission bursary JD English: April 30, 2024
Admission bursary JD French: April 30, 2024

The Faculty of Law, Common Law Section has approximately 70 financial aid bursaries as well as 90 scholarships/awards and prizes that are offered annually to Common Law students.

All scholarships and bursaries for first, second and third year students as well as scholarships and bursaries for students enrolled in the National Program require an application. Some are awarded on a needs only basis; others also contain merit criteria such as academic excellence or community involvement. Only students already enrolled in the academic year can submit an application for a scholarship reserved for students in that same academic year.

Admissions scholarships - JD Program

The Faculty of Law, Common Law Section has many admission scholarships that are exclusively offered to prospective Common Law students.

The deadline to apply for Admission Scholarships and Bursaries is May 1st of each year.

Admission scholarships are awarded based on a financial need, academic merit or other criteria. All eligible prospective Common Law students will be considered. 

Students who wish to apply for application based admission scholarships must do so through the Bursary Navigator, accessible through uozone. 

If you are offered an admission scholarship you will be notified by the Faculty. To view a list of all available scholarships, please consult the Bursary Navigator.
