Electives

The Department of Family Medicine offers several opportunities for medical students and residents to participate in meaningful primary care research as a part of their medical education.

Elective opportunities are available to uOttawa medical students and residents as well as International medical students and residents.

Residents are encouraged to utilize the DFM Research team for the Family Medicine Resident Scholarly Project, which is a mandatory requirement for graduation from the uOttawa Family Medicine residency program.
