This call for applications is open to faculty members with established connections Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College and Kilimanjaro/Christian Medical Centre (KCMUCo/KCMC) proposing mobility that will take place between October 2023 and April 2024.
Following the signing of a MOU in November 2021, the uOttawa Faculty of Medicine has established linkages with KCMUCo/KCMC to build collaborative activities in several areas of clinical medicine and public health.
As we move into the second year of the partnership, the IGHO welcomes faculty mobility applications that build on established linkages and have a clear vision that aligns with the outcomes identified in the partnership logic model.
In addition to undertaking the mobility initiative, funded faculty members must also commit to present their experience upon their return at a departmental meeting, as well as to be ambassadors for the partnership and champions within their department.

2. Initial review by the IGHO for alignment with partnership objectives/framework
3. Content-specific assessment
- Assessment by the Clinical Global Health Council for applications associated with clinical activities
- Assessment by the Assistant Dean of Global Health (Dr. Manisha Kulkarni) for applications associated with public health and other non-clinical activities
4. Final assessment and determination by the IGHO
5. Response sent to applicants by October 6, 2023
