Updates regarding COVID-19

The Faculty of Medicine is committed to sharing information with our community on emerging issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Update: September 15, 2022

Given our proximity to hospitals where mask mandates remain in effect, an expected COVID wave in the fall, and the fact that many members of our community work directly with patients receiving care, existing masking requirements will remain in effect for the Faculty of Medicine.

Masks are still required indoors at university facilities on the Alta Vista campus, including Roger Guindon Hall (RGN), 600 Peter Morand and 850 Peter Morand. Masks will continue to be made available at these locations. Two-metre distancing where possible continues to be recommended.

There may be exceptions regarding masking while teaching; details will be communicated to you directly by your respective office.

These requirements will remain in place until further notice, but rest assured we will be continuously monitoring the situation. We thank you for your continued patience and support.
