There is a lot more going on during the first week of school! Our mission is simple: to ensure that your time here starts off on an unforgettable note, filling you with excitement, helping you form new friendships and laying the foundation for a great academic year. Now, you have officially become a Gee-Gee, so dive right in and see what we have in store to start off your university experience!
Canadians & their System of Government (for international students) -September 14, 10 a.m.
This session provides international students with basic knowledge about Canada and its system of government. The presentation's content will benefit students beginning their academic careers in the Social Sciences programs.
The session will take place on September 14, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Great #uOttawaFSS Scavenger Hunt
Get moving and have fun discovering your campus! From September 5 to 8, complete the Great #uOttawaFSS scavenger hunt and get a chance to win one of two $100 gift certificates at the uOttawa Bookstore!
To complete the scavenger hunt, find the answers to 10 questions about various student services on campus. Drop off your answers in FSS 3001 before September 8th at 3 p.m. to enter the draw. All completed forms with correct answers will be entered into the draw on Monday, September 11th at 3 p.m. This contest is only open to students registered full-time in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
