Pacifique Manirakiza has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law (Common Law section) since 2004 where he teaches Canadian Criminal Law and International Criminal Law. Mr Manirakiza has also been a Law Professor at the University of Burundi and at Hope University in Kenya. Professor Manirakiza has participated to the peace negotiations in Burundi and was part of a defence team at the International Criminal Court for Rwanda, where he also had been an intern. He is currently part of a team of African legal experts who have been consulted on a draft Statute for an African criminal jurisdiction. Details
