The IRA program is co-funded by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation and has been designed with a dual focus: nurture and grow University of Ottawa research activities in priority countries et respond to the specific research goals and priorities of each uOttawa faculty.
International Research Award
The International Research Award (IRA) program supports research projects with partner countries that involve the participation of student and post doctorate researchers.
Under the joint supervision of professors at both home and host institutions, uOttawa students and postdoctoral fellows may apply to receive a $6,000 award to conduct a 12-to-24-week research project.
The IRA program also allows international students from priority countries to conduct research on campus under the academic supervision a uOttawa faculty member.
