Prerequisite courses and required averages for students from British Columbia for 2022-2023.

You must have a British Columbia Secondary School Diploma with five Grade 12 courses. All program-specific requirements must be at the Grade 12 level unless otherwise specified. Provincial exams are recommended but not required.

Your admission average, which is also used to determine your eligibility for admission scholarships, is calculated based on your five best interim or final Grade 12 courses, including the prerequisites for your chosen program.

Please note that the requirements listed are minimum requirements only and are subject to change. Meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Admission is not guaranteed. The minimum average required depends on the popularity of the program. Applicants who do not have the minimum average required for some of our most competitive programs may be considered for a program in related fields of study.
